Dakota Adventures - Rentals

The equipment we rent out is the same equipment we use for our guided trips. It is of the highest quality and is sure to perform well, even in adverse conditions. All rentals include instructions on how to safely handle and operate.

Wilderness System Kayaks & Mad River Canoes
All kayaks and canoes travel through the water with minimal exertion and are very stable and made of pothyethelyne, a plastic composite far superior to aluminum.

All rates are based on one 24 hour period.  Prices do not include 7.5% sales tax.

Boats
$30 Solo kayak:  Includes a life jacket, paddle, and spray skirt.  These are recreational kayaks with great stability and plenty of storage.  A great expedition boat that will make any paddler feel safe on the water.  Equipped with a a ruder for easy steering.
$40 Tandem Kayak: Includes life jackets, paddles, and spray skirts.  These boats also have great stability and plenty of storage for two people. This is a great expedition kayak for two. Equipped with a rudder for easy steering.
$35 Canoe: Includes life jackets and paddles.  These canoes have tons of storage and are extremely stable. They are very easy to paddle and maneuver.
Camping Gear

Tent: Includes instructions.  Four person domed tents, designed for rough weather when the rain fly is on, when off they offer 100% ventilation for those warm nights under the stars.
$1.50 Sleeping mattress:  Closed cell foam mattresses offer a soft flooring to sleep on. A must- have.
$8 Sleeping bag:  Mummy style and rectangular style available
$12 Camp Stove (two burner): Includes instructions and extra fuel.  Coleman Camp Stove, high fuel efficiency efficiency.
$10 Camp Stove (single burner): Includes instructions and extra fuel.  Coleman Stove, offers high fuel efficiency and easier to pack than the two burner.
$4 Mess Kit: Pricing depends on what you need.
$3.50 Camp Chairs:  Folding camp chair that pack very well on kayaks or in canoes. Great for relaxing in.
$2 6 gallon water jugs: Includes water.  Equipped like a faucet to turn on or off. Good drinking water is scarce, prepare to take one gallon per person a day.
